Chinatown Service Center
We started off as a small group of community volunteers who recognized the need to address the problems of Chinese immigrants. In 1971, we became an established nonprofit organization. Our mission is to provide outstanding services and advocacy that promote better quality of life and equal opportunity for immigrants and other communities.
Tzu Chi USA
The Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation is a global non-profit humanitarian organization founded in 1966 by a Buddhist nun named Dharma Master Cheng Yen in Taiwan. Its missions of medicine, charity, education, and humanistic culture have brought relief to 128 countries and counting. In 1989, Tzu Chi USA was established and now has 63 offices across the US. The heart of Tzu Chi is embedded in its name: in Chinese, “tzu” means compassion, and “chi,” relief.
Asian Pacific Counseling and Treatment Centers
Asian Pacific Counseling and Treatment Centers (APCTC) is a nationally recognized mental health provider offering culturally sensitive services to the underserved communities in Los Angeles and Riverside counties. We provide services to children, youth, adults, and older adults. All services are provided with cultural sensitivity and bilingual capacity. Services are available in Cambodian, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin, and Taiwanese), Japanese, Korean, Laotian, Filipino (Cebuano, Ilocano and Tagalog), Spanish, Thai, and Vietnamese. Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California
Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California (AJSOCAL) is the nation’s largest legal and civil rights organization for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs). Founded in 1983 as the Asian Pacific American Legal Center, Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California serves more than 15,000 individuals and organizations every year. Through direct services, impact litigation, policy advocacy, leadership development, and capacity building, Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California focuses on the most vulnerable members of AAPI communities while also building a strong voice for civil rights and social justice. Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California is based in downtown Los Angeles, with satellite offices in Orange County and Sacramento.

Los Angeles County District Attorney
The Bureau of Victim Services provides essential services to crime victims and witnesses. Victim Services Representatives are available to assist with a range of services to help victims become survivors. They work in courthouses and police stations and are available to provide assistance in several languages. Program services are provided free of charge and there is no legal residency or citizenship requirement.
